About Us
Hyperbaric Clinical Director
Vision Statement
This site is designed to give both the expert and the lay person a clearinghouse of information for the benefits and applications of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. The principle behind this therapy is simple: to help the body in its natural healing process by flooding a pressurized chamber with 100 % pure oxygen. This therapy has been used in a wide variety of applications, from treating non-healing wounds such as diabetic ulcers, to therapy for brain damaged children. While this treatment has been around for over 50 years, an attitude of mistrust and apprehension over this therapy has existed, even among the medical community. The purpose of this site is to help dispel that mistrust and to provide a springboard to find more information, providing a source for serious investigation and discussion by professionals and serving as a tool for empowerment by those seeking an honest knowledge of this therapy.
